Well, Xiaomi is stepping into different categories in the year 2020. After the launch of the flagship Mi 10 and a few other products under the Mi brand, the much-awaited Mi NoteBooks are here. Xiaomi has unveiled, Mi NoteBook 14 series in India which is not a rebranded RedmiBook series. In this article, we will be going to talk about Mi NoteBook 14 specs and price. Apart from this, the premium Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition Price in Bangladesh is aggressive considering the specs it offers.

Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition Specs

The Horizon Edition is the higher-end variant which comes with the i5 and i7 processor coupled with Nvidia GeForce MX350 dedicated GPU.

          Design and Display

The laptop has aluminium and magnesium metal body and weighs 1.35Kg and 17.15mm thin. Talking about the display, it has 14″ FHD (1,920×1,080 pixels) anti-glare display with 178-degree viewing angle. The refresh rate is 60Hz, and it comes with 250nits of brightness along with 1000:1 contrast ratio. The bezels are 3mm thick, and the screen to body ratio is 91%. There is no in-built webcam. However, you will get a bundled USB webcam with all laptops.



Talking about performance, it has two variant, i5 and i7. The COMET lake 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10210U is coupled with 512GB SATA SSD while the Intel Core i7-10510U processor comes with  512GB of NVMe M.2 SSD. It has 8 gigs of DDR4 RAM (2666MHz). It has NVIDIA GEFORCE MX350 GPU with 2GB of VRAM and runs on Windows 10 Home.


It includes a 46Wh battery. Xiaomi claims up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. Moreover, it comes with a 65W fast charging that will charge from 0 to 50% in around 30 minutes.

          Keyboard and Trackpad

Xiaomi has included chiclet-style keyboard with a scissor mechanism. The key travel is 1.3mm. The backlit on the keyboard is missing as well as there is no dedicated num pad. The trackpad supports multitouch gestures.


It comes with dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, 2x USB 3.1 ports, 1x USB 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port for data transfer and a charging slot.


Mi NoteBooks have stereo speakers with DTS Audio processing. Also, Xiaomi has preloaded the laptop with Mi Blaze Unlock, so that you can unlock the laptop with the Mi Band. The Mi Quickshare helps to transfer data from smartphone to laptop or vice versa. Also, you can switch between Performance Mode and Silent Mode with a shortcut.

Besides the high-end Horizon Edition, there is a regular variant that comes in three configurations.

Design and Display

It comes with a 14″ FHD display with 3mm thick bezels on the three side. The bottom bezel is a bit thicker, which houses the Mi branding. The laptop is made up of Mg+Al metal body which looks premium. The weight is 1.5kg. All laptops come in Mercury Grey color. The screen to body ratio is 81.2% here.
